About Us
The East Village Farmers
Market was established
in January 2008. The purpose of the event is to provide a
meeting place for vendors and consumers to connect in a traditional
farmers market environment. Our goal is to enhance the downtown and
East Village areas through a quality farmers market.
The East Village Farmers
Market is hosted by the Black Historical
Society of San Diego a nonprofit 501c3 organization. The
organization
hosts numerous other events including the Holiday Music Festival,
San Diego Black Film Festival and the Julian Delta Blues Festival,
to name a few.
